日本語科学技術文書処理支援環境 IDE : II. 文書作成における文書モデル

要旨

A prototype system supporting the whole document preparation stage in its life cycle has been designed for a Japanese Document Preparation Environment (IDE) with good user interfaces suitable for scientists or engineers. This system integrates three major functions used at the stage, namely editing, formatting, and textcritiquing. To make the system easy to understand, a simple conceptual model of documents has been proposed. This paper describes the concept and design of the document model.
