海外日本語教育研修について

要旨

The purpose of the program of interns teaching Japanese abroad is to train them to teach Japanese and to give them some experience. My role in this program, which I have done since 1993, is to send students abroad. In this report, I have reflected upon the last ten years. In my report there are three points. Firstly, the training of teaching at junior high school or high school and the training of teaching Japanese to foreign students are very different. Secondly, it is important for someone learning to teach Japanese to spend sometime study abroad. Thirdly, there is a report by Professor Masayuki Sekine and Professor Syunji Yamazaki about investigating the conditions of teaching Japanese in New Zealand and Australia. (1991)
