要旨
In accordance with pragmatics, utterances can be analyzed into three types of functions : 1. "kekka", "sue(ni)", "ageku(ni)" 2. "amari", "temae", "bakarini" 3. "karaniwa", "ijyouwa", "uewa". From this point of view, the function or condition of the usage of these patterns, when it is used for asking the hearer to do something, may be defined as follows : The main function of these patterns are to indicate some subjectivity of the speaker to realize the matter through the action of the hearer, yet the action must be voluntary or spontaneous. Therefore, these patterns can never be used for an order or command as the illocutionary act. Also, when the perlocutionary act of the utterance is considered as a request, invitation, or recommendation to the listener with immediate effect.
