要旨
国際原子力機関(IAEA, International Atomic Energy Agency)は，東日本大震災に伴う福島第一原子力発電所事故につき約3年間の調査を行い，2015年8月31日に事務局長報告書(The Fukushima Daiichi Accident ‒ The Report by the Director General)を公表した。これには福島第一原子力発電所事故と安全に関わる評価，緊急時の備えと対応，放射線の影響，事故後の復旧，及びこれらに関するIAEAとしての所見と教訓が記されている。
