MODALITAS ~NODA DALAM KALIMAT BAHASA JEPANG 日本語におけるモダリティ「～のだ」

要旨

ABSTRACT Patoluon, Azmi Ni Adzro. 2021. “Modalitas Noda dalam Kalimat Bahasa Jepang”. Thesis, Japanese Language an Culture Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Advisor : Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S., M.Hum. The research aims to describe the structure and meaning of noda modality and to explain the differences in the use of noda modalities. The data were obtained from Japanese website, such as asahi.com, ameba.jp, aozora.gr.jp, yourei.jp, and context.reverso.net. The data collection method in this paper is the simak-catat method. Then, using qualitative descriptive method to analysis the structure and meaning of noda modality. Agih method is used to find out the differences in noda modality. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that noda’s modality could be attached to verbs, I-adjectives, Na-adjectives and nouns. There are two of noda modalities which is interproposisional modality and interpersonal modality. The modality of noda has two types; “related” and “unrelated types”, each has a meaning. Also, there are the interproposisional modality and interpersonal modality forms of ~ta is nodatta. Keywords: modality, noda, nda, ndesu, nodatta, ndatta, setsumei (explanation)
