MODALITAS KAMOSHIRENAI DALAM KALIMAT BAHASA JEPANG日本語におけるモダリティ「かもしれない」

要旨

ABSTRACT Praditasari, Niken Arum. 2019. “Kamoshirenai’s Modality in the Japanese sentence”. A Thesis, Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor : Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S., M.Hum. This research is conducted to describe the structure and meaning of kamoshirenai modality and explain the differences related to the use of the modality as well. Meanwhile, the data of the research are taken from the various official Japanese website. To collect the data literature review is used as its method. In addition, the research itself uses descriptive qualitative method to analyze the structure and the meaning of kamoshirenai modality and also agih method to differ the use of the modality. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that kamoshirenai modality which expresses the possibility of situation, causality, general opinion and refine opinion can attach to the verb, i-adjective, na-adjektive, and noun. Keyword : modality, gaigen (supposition), kamoshirenai.
