要旨
In this paper, we present the results of a co-design workshop exploring the use of augmented reality (AR) to support students learning Japanese as a second language (L2).In our study, we recruited seven Japanese language instructors in Canada and explored potential applications via a co-design workshop approach. Our participants provided unique insights into the aspects of the language they most struggle to teach and collaboratively envisioned potential applications for AR to address these struggles.Based on these results, we propose four AR applications to support Japanese language learners.Implications for future work in extended reality applications in this context are also discussed.
