伊勢大淀方言の特殊な文アクセント

要旨

これは、一特定方言の抑揚の生活を記述する営みである。表現現実態の抑揚を、ありのままに見ようとつとめる。土地には土地なりのことば調子がある。それは、即、語アクセント、ではない。人々は語アクセントで生活してはいない。安定した、だから融通性のある土地ことばの調子で、生活している。ことばの調子は、方言の素顔である。この、ことば調子を、抑揚と呼び、また文アクセントと呼ぶ。文アクセント記述の方法として、話部アクセントをたてる。|Ise-Oizu dialect is characterized by its peculiar intonation patterns. One dominant tendency is that pitch is put on the first syllable of each segment in sentences. The other noteworthy tendency is that pitch appears both in the first and the last syllables of certain segments in sentences. Such intonation patterns have been found by Dr. Yoichi Fujiwara in some parts of the Western dialectal region in Japan. He points out that the southern part of the Kinki dialectal region is one of them. This paper is an attempt to point out that those peculiar intonation patterns are also in daily use in Ise-Oizu and not strictly limited to the southern part in the Kinki district.
