要旨
Abstract The “Altaic” languages form a major grouping in central and northeastern Asia that includes Turkish, Mongolian, Japanese, Tungusic, and Korean. Their histories of expansion appear mainly to have occurred within the past 2,500 years, but their cultural roots undoubtedly go far deeper in time.
